I use Halleluyah Scriptures (Bible) for studying the word of God and I often quote verses from this bible. This particular bible is translated directly from the dead sea scrolls which are in Paleo Hebrew script (ancient Hebrew). All the names of Almighty -YHWH are retained from the dead sea scrolls, meaning they have not been changed. It is believed to be the same name used by YHWH for himself when HE gave the Ten Commandments to Moshe. These commandments were written in stone where the name YHWH appears.
Similarly, the Name of our Messiah is mentioned as Yahushua. His name means- Yah is our salvation. Like YHWH, this name is also retained from the Paleo Hebrew script in the renewed covenant (New Testament). Further, the names of all the men in the bible are also retained from the dead sea scroll.
Sometimes, in my blogs, I use the same names and terminology found in Halleluyah Scriptures.
Since, this bible is directly translated from the dead sea scrolls, the chances of misinterpreting the text are marginal. For example, Yahushua is a Hebrew name, and most of the English translations mention “Jesus” instead of the original name Yahushua. The name “Jesus” is an adaptation from the Greek name “Iesous”. It is said that Iesous is adapted from the Greek god Zeus.
I feel the name of Adon Yahushua has transitioned through many languages which dilutes the essence of HIS real name and purpose (Yahoshua = Yah is Salvation). This is one of the reasons why I like to call HIM by HIS real name. You will find me addressing Yahushua as Adon/Adonai which is master or my Master.
Other than the names and terminologies, there are some key principles that I like about this bible. Like for example, there are no footnotes in this bible. The publication urges the reader to ask YHWH in case they don’t understand any scripture. I liked this concept as it gives us a chance to come closer to Abba Father and to find out what HE means when HE said it. Just imagine, Ruach-ha-Qodesh (the Holy Spirit) Himself teaches you what HE meant when HE inspired the author to write that verse. Isn’t it a great idea to let the Author teach us the chapters in the book!
But the helper, the Ruach-ha-‘Qodesh, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you all that I said to you. – John 14: 26
I also like the richness of the content. For instance, a verse from HS Bible: Baruk be YHWH, day by day HE bears our burden, the El of our deliverance’ selah – ps 68:19.
King James Version: Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. – ps 68:19
Note the difference between the two verses. The entire meaning of the verse changes. This is just one example but there are many other verses whose meaning changes when I read from Halleluyah Scriptures (HS) bible.
Another great reason is that: it gives us an opportunity to speak the same language that YHWH Himself spoke. I would love to speak my Father’s tongue all the time because I’m His child.
