Jesus Christ said we get deceived because we don’t know the word of God. Deception works like a sugar quoted poison pill, It first tastes sweet but soon reveals its bitterness. It slips in without notice and changes the entire focus. This was the first “trick” used by Satan in the garden of Eden and since then using it. Bible not only encourages our growth in Spiritual area, but cautions to be careful of being deceived.
Others may deceive or you may end up deceiving self. We are not unaware of the tricks of the devil.
